Connor Tom (Reinholds, Pa./Conrad Weiser) led the Bullets (5-2) offensively, going 3-for-4 with a double.

Gettysburg committed a season-high four errors that led to five unearned runs.

Carroll (4-1) pushed across four unearned runs on four hits and two errors in the first inning versus freshman starter

Gettysburg got on the scoreboard with one run in the second inning, but the Pioneers answered with three runs on two hits and a walk in the third to open up a 7-1 advantage.

Carroll tacked on single runs in the sixth and seventh versus freshman reliever
Matt Ainsworth (Rockville, Md./Thomas Wootton). The Bullets set the final score in the bottom of the seventh on an RBI-single from sophomore
Chuck Probst (North Bend, Pa./Bucktail).

Making his first collegiate start, Dobbins (0-1) was charged with the loss. He worked five innings and gave up seven runs (three earned) on eight hits and five walks. Ainsworth worked the final four innings and yielded two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks.

Carl Formento (2-0) earned the win for the Pioneers, giving up two runs on six hits and no walks while striking out eight.

The Bullets continue their trip on Friday, when they take on Coast Guard in a doubleheader starting at 10 a.m.
