Â
Gettysburg won the last five games of its trip by a combined score of 45-10 after a tough start that included three one-run losses and a tie.

Chuck Probst (North Bend, Pa./Bucktail), and freshman
Joe Giovinco (Stirling, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) roped four hits apiece for the Bullets, who outhit the Lords 26-12 over the twinbill.
Â
On the mound, seniors

Danny Brace (Berwyn, Pa./Devon Prep) and sophomore
Will Wortmann (Bedford, N.Y./Fox Lane) worked a seven-hitter in the second game.
Â
The Bullets never trailed on the day and jumped to a 1-0 lead in the first game, when Probst singled leading off and scored on a single from Anderson. In the second inning, freshman
Tyler Mitchell (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) ripped a two-run double to make it 3-0.
Â
Gettysburg strung together three singles and a sacrifice bunt in the fifth to push across its final two runs. Anderson and junior
Logan Sneed (Newtown, Pa./Germantown Academy) reached on back-to-back singles leading off before freshman
Dominick Gasparro (Clarksburg, N.J./Princeton Day School) bunted them over. Senior
J.J. Lucido (Woodstock, Md./St. Paul's) followed up with a two-run single, chasing Kenyon starter Jesse Bogatz.
Â
Meanwhile, Power (1-1) scattered five hits and four walks over 5 2/3 innings while striking out six. He stranded eight base runners and worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the second with a strikeout.

Bezio came on with one out in the sixth and retired all four batters he faced, striking out one.
Â
The outcome was never in doubt in the second game after the Bullets outscored Kenyon 8-0 to start the game, including 6-0 over the first two innings. Gasparro supplied a two-run single in the first before Gettysburg erupted for a six-hit second. Freshman
Tate Frodsham (McKinney, Texas/McKinney North) led off with a single and scored on a triple from Mitchell before Probst blasted a two-run homer – the first long ball of his career. Anderson stroked an RBI-single later in the inning to give the Bullets their six-run cushion.
Â
Gettysburg tacked on single runs in the fourth and sixth, giving Brace plenty of support in his second collegiate start. He blanked the Lords on four hits over the first five innings before Kenyon broke through with a three-run, three-hit sixth.
Â
The Lords scored once and loaded the bases with one out when Wortmann was summoned out the bullpen. After a walk and a sacrifice fly brought home a pair of runs, Wortmann escaped further damage with a strikeout.
