GETTYSBURG Pa. – For the third time in four seasons, the Gettysburg College men's soccer team will appear in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference (CC) Championship.

Johns Hopkins captured its ninth conference title in 2019 and first since 2009, while Franklin & Marshall has claimed two conference championships in the last eight seasons (2013 & 2017), and Washington has never won a conference title.

Gettysburg's Playoff History
Gettysburg is making its 12th tournament appearance and fourth in a row. The Orange and Blue advanced to the semifinals of the 2019 conference tournament after winning the opening round match at Haverford College. Gettysburg also appeared in the 2017 semifinals as the third seed but fell 1-0 against Franklin & Marshall. The Bullets were Centennial championships in 1993, 1999, and 2001, and were crowned tournament champions in 2001.
All-Time Series
Johns Hopkins holds the all-time series record at 53-22-10 that dates back to 1936. The last five meetings between the Bullets and Blue Jays have been decided by one goal. Gettysburg's last win against Johns Hopkins came in a 2-1 overtime decision during the 2018 season at Homewood Field.
Previous Meeting
Gettysburg played its fourth conference game of the season at then-ranked No. 8 Johns Hopkins. It was a physical game against the nationally-ranked opponents, but the Blue Jays scored at the 4:04 marker and added another in the 86th minute to claim the 2-0 victory on Oct. 2. Gettysburg and Johns Hopkins were equally matched, statistically, with Johns Hopkins holding a 12-11 advantage in shots while the Bullets earned an 8-3 edge in corner kicks. Freshman

CC Opening Round
Gettysburg broke through in the 93rd minute when junior
Jack Carroll (Leonia, N.J./Bergen Catholic) knocked in the game-winning goal to lift the Bullets past fourth seed Swarthmore College in the opening round of the CC Championship on Tuesday night at Clothier Field. It was a low shooting performance for the Garnet and Bullets as they combined for seven total in the opening half. Mike Carracino (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) found the back of the net for his first career tally in the 76th minute to tie it up 1-1. Muller and
