LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior
Quinn Greene (New Milford, Conn./Canterbury School) was named the Centennial Conference Co-Golfer of the Week for the second time in his career on Tuesday, April 20.
Greene averaged 74.7 strokes and posted three top-10 finishes on the course last week. The senior shot a 76 and tied for ninth at the Dickinson Invitational last Thursday. At the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday, Greene tied for the top spot with a 74 but lost the tiebreaker for medalist honors. He then closed the week with another 74 to earn third place at the McDaniel Invitational on Monday.
The senior was the final CC Golfer of the Week before competition was cancelled in 2020. Greene leads the Bullets with a 75.2 scoring average and six top-10 showings this spring.
Gettysburg competes at the CC Championships this weekend (April 24-25) at the Hershey Country Club. The Bullets won the conference title in 2019.
