HERSHEY, Pa. – Senior
Quinn Greene (New Milford, Conn./Canterbury School) shot an even-par 71 to jump to the top of the individual leaderboard and Gettysburg College posted 311 to earn the top spot in the team standings at the conclusion of round one of the Centennial Conference Championship at the Hershey Country Club on Saturday.

Match Summary
Looking to defend its 2019 conference title, Gettysburg rolled out to a three-stroke lead over Franklin & Marshall with a first-round total of 311. The Bullets managed to jump in front of the Diplomats thanks to a round-high 10 birdies on the course.
Greene accounted for three of those birdies as he finished one stroke shy of his personal collegiate low. The Gettysburg senior was one-over on the front nine with a birdie on the par-5, 511-yard sixth hole followed by back-to-back bogeys on seven and eight. Greene kicked off the back nine with a birdie on No. 10 and he posted his third birdie of the round on the par-4, 371-yard 17th hole, adding six pars and a bogey on the back of the course. Greene holds a four-stroke lead over Jas Fuhrer from F&M.
Junior
Hayden Moffat (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) sits sixth after notching a 78 on Saturday. Like Greene, Moffat's best scores came on the back half of the course with two birdies, the first on the par-5, 491-yard 14th and the second on the par-4, 385-yard 18th. Moffat was four-over on the front nine and three-over on the back.
Sophomore
Joseph Furlong (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) ranks among the top 10 with an 80 on day one. Furlong tied Greene for the most birdies on the team with three. The sophomore birdied a pair of par-5s at No. 1 and No. 14 and added a third birdie on the par-4, 374-yard 11th.
Freshman
Cameron Deiuliis (Highland, Md./River Hill) accounted for Gettysburg's remaining two birdies as he tied for 14th with an 82. Deiuliis logged his birdies on back-to-back holes on the front nine, shooting under par on No. 4 and No. 5. He ran off five consecutive pars to start the back nine.
Senior
Daniel Rieger (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) rounded out Gettysburg's lineup by shooting a 91 and tying for 25th.
