Bullets hold event for aspiring collegiate baseball players

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Gettysburg College baseball head coach John Campo and his staff have announced a Fall Prospect Day that will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17, for high school players in grades 10-12 who are interested in playing baseball in college.

The all-day event will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and conclude with a question and answer session with Coach Campo. Attendees will participate in metric testing, position specific evaluation sessions, and a scrimmage during the day. Depending on weather conditions, the event will be held at either Kirchhoff Field or Hauser Field House.

The cost to attend the clinic is $150 and checks should be made payable to "Gettysburg College." Interested individuals can fill out the registration form or register online.

All participants must bring their own baseball equipment, including a glove, bat, hat, batting helmet, baseball pants, cleats or spikes (indoor shoes if necessary). Catchers must bring their own gear. Lunch will not be provided, but several venues on campus will be available to purchase food.
