FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Gettysburg College (6-4) stuffed 22 attack attempts on the way to earning a split on the second day of the University of Mary Washington Invitational. The Bullets dropped a 3-1 decision to Washington and Lee University (9-3) before rebounding for a 3-0 win over Catholic University (2-9) on Saturday.

- Washington and Lee broke out to double-figure wins in the opening two sets on the strength of 29 kills against just five hitting errors.
- Gettysburg rebounded in set three by hitting .353 (15-3-34), but the Generals posted 16 kills in the final set to close things out.
- Each team posted over 50 kills in the match with W&L hitting 55 and Gettysburg totaling 52. Washington and Lee finished with a better attack percentage at .282.

- Kuba-McCoy has led the Bullets in kills in every match this fall. She posted her ninth outing with 10 or more kills and logged her sixth double-double (kills-digs). The junior is averaging 4.29 kills per set with an attack percentage of .316.
- Biggs and Ingrid Bayer '22 (Falls Church, Va./Bishop O'Connell) dominated the net defensively in their home state, combining for 10 blocks in the victory.
