THE REST OF THE STORY
• After a back-and-forth first half yielded just three total on-target shots and no goals, Gettysburg broke through the in the 58th minute.
Athi Msiza (Gauteng, South Africa/Berkshire School) sent a ball across the box from the right side that
Jack Carroll was able to get a foot on and stake the hosts to a 1-0 lead.
• Setting up a free kick from just outside the upper-right corner of the box nearly 18 minutes later, Dylan Sloan fired a line drive to the top of the six. Jahci Knick broke through the defensive line and headed the ball home to tie the game.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Lycoming finished with a 15-9 advantage in shots that included an 11-4 edge in the second half. The Warriors also finished with an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
