THE SKINNY STORY
After a Muhlenberg goal in the first half,
Jack Carroll (Leonia, N.J/Bergen Catholic) scored the equalizer in the second to ensure them a home playoff berth.
THE LEADERS
• Carroll scored his team-leading ninth goal of the season to secure Gettysburg's return to their home field.
FOR THE FOES
• Jason Edelstein scored for the Mules in the 36th minute.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The Mules broke up a scoreless first half when Noah Pietila got a ball to Jason Edelstein, who drove up to kick it in for the first goal of the game. Edelstein's goal remained as the only tally in the first half.
• Carroll's goal came in the 77th minute, when his foot connected with a ball played by
Conor O'Donnell (Newton, Pa./Council Rock High School North) and found the top corner of the net.
• The Bullets were able to keep Muhlenberg locked up for the next 13 minutes to seal their home-field advantage in the playoff first round.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg outshot Muhlenberg 16-7 and held the edge in corner kicks 7-2.

Kevin Muhic (Moorestown, N.J/Moorestown) made one save in goal for the Bullets.
