McDaniel rallied to halve the Bullets' lead, making the score 18-15, before Gettysburg scored four consecutive points to bring them to 22-15. • The Bullets owned the second set from the start, winning the first five points and increasing their lead to ten at 14-4. McDaniel and Gettysburg each scored two more points on kills to make the score 15-6, before the Bullets went off for six straight points to give them a 21-6 edge. A kill by Roberts for the Green Terror stopped the Bullets momentarily, but Gettysburg pushed forward for another three points to get them to set point, 24-7. McDaniel got one more point on the set from a Roberts block, before Radolovic sealed up set two with a kill.
• In the final set, Gettysburg and McDaniel remained much closer, tying ten times throughout. A 3-all tie was broken up by three straight points for McDaniel, which Gettysburg quickly matched to make the score 6-all. Gettysburg edged out to a 12-9 lead, but three in a row for McDaniel tied the score again at 12-all. From there, the teams went back-and-forth in points to mark a 16-all tie, before the Bullets scored four consecutive points to mark a 20-16 lead, their largest of the set to that point. The Green Terror killed the ball twice to bring the Bullets within two at 20-18, which Gettysburg increased to 23-18 off a McDaniel error and two aces by
