THE SKINNY STORY
The Gettysburg men's swim team, led by Court Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic), cruised to victory over Southern Virginia
 
THE LEADERS
• Cort Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic) took home three wins, in the 200 medley relay (1:37.26), the 100 freestyle (48.89) and 400 freestyle relay (3:14.23).

FOR THE FOES
• Stuart Burbidge picked up a win in the 200 freestyle for Southern Virginia.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• The Gettysburg 200 Medley A-Team, of Nick Cox (Purcellville, Va./Ponte Verda), Declan Sheeran (McLean, Va./McLean), Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio, Olentangy), and Hobelmann took home gold with a time of 1:37.26. The Gettysburg B-Team, of Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area), Zach Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J/Egg Harbor Twp.), Hunter Sundlun (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher School), and Lorenzo Zullo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) came in second at 1:40.14.
• Jack Murphy (Potamac, Md./Winston Churchill) touched first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:25.10. The second-place finisher from Southern Virginia was over 20 seconds behind.
• Charlie Cross (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) claimed first in the 200 IM, clocking in at 1:58.57. Teammate Cox was not far behind, coming in second at 2:01.50.
• Conor Vienneau (Newburg, Md./LaPlata) hit the wall first in the 500 freestyle, with a time of 4:59.64. Nelson came in behind him at 5:01.65.
• Sheeran claimed first in the 100 breaststroke, swimming a 1:00.80 race.
• The Gettysburg 400 freestyle relay (Hobelmann, Sundlun, Cox, Cross) won first place in the last event of the meet, coming in at 3:14.23.
 
THE INSIDE STORY
• Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) touched second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:48.58, eleven hundredths of a second behind the first-place finisher.
• Evans took home second in the 50 freestyle (22.59), narrowly edging out teammate McAlister (22.76).  
• Murphy nabbed a second place in the 100 backstroke, with a time of 56.44. Teammate Charter Sasseville (North Yarmouth, Maine/Greely) was close behind, at 56.63.
