SATURDAY EVENING RECAP
• Declan Sheeran (McLean, Va./McLean) led the Bullets to a one-two-three finish in the 200 breaststroke. Sheeran earned first place with a 2:04.31 swim. He moves up the Bullets men top 10 performers list with the swim, from fourth to second-fastest. His time was less than two tenths off of the program record of 2:04.16 in the event. Charlie Cross (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) was second, with a time of 2:05.18, dropping three seconds off of his career-best time. Luca Tolino (New Market, Md./Oakdale) rounded out the top three, at 2:07.40. Trey Mitchell (Rehoboth Beach, Del./Sussex Academy) earned fifth place (2:09.42).  
• Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy) earned first place in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:53.02. With the swim, he moves up the top 10 list of program performers in the event, from fifth to third-fastest. Mason Dillon (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) was third overall, with a 1:56.62. With his swim, he enters the top 10 list, claiming the seventh-fastest spot.
• Nick Cox (Purcellville, Va./Ponte Verda) claimed first place in the 200 backstroke, swimming a 1:51.83. Jack Murphy (Potamac, Md./Winston Churchill) took third (1:54.27), and teammate Conor Vienneau (Newburg, Md./LaPlata) was right behind in fourth place (1:54.58). Ben Rose (Ridgewood, N.J./Bergen Catholic) registered a sixth-place finish at 1:57.38.
•  In the 1650 freestyle, Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) registered a second-place finish with a time of 16:14.81. Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) was fourth, with a swim of 16:34.39. Joe Curry (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) came in behind, with a 16:50.04 time to nab fifth place.
• The 400 Medley Relay A-Team, of Cox, Cross, Cort Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic), and Hunter Sundlun (Richmond, Va./St. Christophers School) took fourth with a time of 3:09.68. The B-Team, of Zac Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.), Jack Murphy (Potamac, Md./Winston Churchill), Vienneau, and John Verosko (Gainesville, Va./Patriot) was eighth, at 3:!3.87
• Sundlun came in sixth in the 100 freestyle (47.18), followed by Hobelmann  in seventh (47.34). Evans was 12th overall, at 48.01, and Verosko was just hundredths behind in 13th place and 48.04. Lorenzo Zullo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) tied with Benton Greenburg from Swarthmore for 14th place, with both swimming a 48.12.

SATURDAY MORNING RECAP
• Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy) swam to a new program record in the 100 butterfly, as well as first-place honors. His swim of 49.71 broke the previous record of 49.73, set by Jack Edelson in 2021. McAlister was the only swimmer on the day to go sub-50 seconds in the event. His time is just seven tenths off the NCAA B-Cut qualifying time. Hunter Sundlun (Richmond, Va./St. Christophers School) was fourth in the event, swimming a 51.59. Trey Mitchell took tenth, with a 52.23.
• Trey Mitchell and Declan Sheeran went one-two in the 100 breaststroke, swimming a 56.66 and 56.91, respectively. With their swims, Mitchell becomes the second-fastest performer in the event in program history, and Sheeran becomes the third. Mitchell's time is just under a second above the NCAA B-Cut time in the event, while Sheeran's time is a second and two-tenths away from the B-Cut. Charlie Cross (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) was sixth overall, with a 58.43. Zach Evans swam a 1:00.14 for a ninth place overall finish.
• The 200 Medley Relay A-Team, of Nick Cox (Purcellville, Va./Ponte Verda), Declan Sheeran (McLean, Va./McLean), Max McAlister, and Cort Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic) was first overall, with a swim of 1:31.85. With the swim, the A-Team becomes the third-fastest performing team in program history in the event. The B-Team, of Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area), Zac Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.), Hunter Sundlun, and Lorenzo Zullo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) was fifth overall, with a time of 1:36.66.
• In the 400 IM, Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) swam to a second-place finish, touching the wall at 4:07.13. He improves his standing in the program top ten from fourth to third fastest in the event with the swim. Mason Dillon (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) was fifth overall, with a 4:14.20. He becomes the tenth fastest performer in the event in program history with his swim. Luca Tolino (New Market, Md./Oakdale) was seventh overall, registering a 4:16.02.
• Conor Vienneau took third place in the 200 freestyle, swimming a 1:44.24. Joe Curry was sixth, at 1:45.51, and John Versoko (Gainesville, Va./Patriot) clocked in right behind in seventh (1:45.58). Lorenzo Zullo took 12th place (1:47.34).
• Hobelmann (52.97) and Jack Murphy (53.10) were third and fourth, respectively, in the 100 backstroke. Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) was fifth, at 53.30, and Ben Rose (Ridgewood, N.J./Bergen Catholic) took sixth with a time of 53.90.
• The 800 Freestyle Relay A-Team, of Vienneau, McKenna, McAlister, and Cross was second overall (7:00.54). The B-Team, of Nelson, Verosko, Zullo, and Curry was right behind in third place (7:07.24). 

FRIDAY RECAP
• Gettysburg collected the top four times in the 500 freestyle. Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) swam to first place overall with a time of 4:41.97. Conor Vienneau (Newburg, Md./LaPlata) was right behind, finishing second with a time of 4:42.18, making him the eighth-fastest performer in the event in program history. John Verosko (Gainesville, Va./Patriot) was third, at 4:42.65, becoming the ninth-fastest performer in program history. Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) swam to fourth place, finishing at 4:43.71. Joe Curry (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) was tenth overall, at 4:50.23.
• Nick Cox (Purcellville, Va./Ponte Verda) led the Bullets men in a one-two-three finish in the 200 IM, with a time of 1:53.21. He becomes the third-fastest swimmer in the event in Gettysburg program history. Hunter Sundlun (Richmond, Va./St. Christophers School) was right behind at 1:54.49, and Charlie Cross (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) took third with a swim of 1:55.28. Sundlun and Cross become the fifth and sixth fastest performers in the event in program history with their swims. Mason Dillon (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) clocked in fifth overall in the event, swimming a 1:55.98. He becomes the ninth-fastest performer in the event in program history with the swim. Luca Tolino (New Market, Md./Oakdale) was seventh overall, swimming a 1:56.90. Declan Sheeran (McLean, Va./McLean) took eleventh place overall, with a 1:57.80.
• The 200 Freestyle Relay A-Team, of Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy), Sundlun, Zac Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.), and Cort Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic) took third place overall with a time of 1:24.64.
• Hobelmann was fourth overall in the 50 freestyle, clocking in at 21.46. McAlister took 13th overall, at 21.86. Evans was only a hundredth behind, in 14th place with a time of 21.87.
• The 400 Medley Relay A-Team, of Cox, Sheeran, McAlister, and Cross took first place overall, with a time of 3:22.20. The C-Team, of Murphy, Dillon, Yaseen Belkadi (Wilmington, Del./Tower Hill School), and Alex McDonnell (Wilton, Conn./Wilton), was 11th overall, at 3:33.26.

NEXT UP
Gettysburg will resume competition in 2023, as they travel to Florida to compete against Scranton on January 8th.
