Also in the final heat, sophomore Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford Area) sliced another two seconds off his PR from the prelims and vaulted into fourth on Gettysburg's all-time list with a time of 4:38.28.
  • The 200 IM witnessed five Gettysburg swimmers lower their personal standards and rise up the program list. Senior Sam Nonemaker (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) missed a medal by just 0.01 with a fourth-place effort of 1:51.89. Senior Oliver Pickering (Millburn, N.J./Millburn) also competed in the A final and lowered his personal standard by over a second at 1:53.61 on the way to a seventh-place showing. His time is tied for third in program history. Cross moved into fifth in the top 10 at 1:53.81, while Dillon grabbed seventh and Tolino took ninth with times of 1:54.91 and 1:56.48, respectively. The trio finished 10th, 11th, and 12th overall in the 200 IM.
