Messiah, ranked 10th in the latest NFHCA Div. III coaches poll, scored in the final minute each of the first two quarters in an otherwise balanced contest at Gettysburg, nabbing a 2-0 win.
THE LEADERS

Emilia Saccento (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood) led the Bullets with three saves in goal.
FOR THE FOES
• Mallory Kline scored in the final minute of the first quarter for the Falcons while Ashlyn Smith added insurance in the final minute of the second.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Off a corner in the 15th minute, Allie Mast sent a ball in from the top-left wing that Mallory Kline got a stick on right in front of the keeper to stake the visitors to a 1-0 lead.
• In the final 30 seconds of the second quarter, Makayla Malcolm dribbled to the end line before centering a pass that Ashlyn Smith was able to knock in to double the lead.
THE INSIDE STORY
• The two teams battle to a nearly even time of possession in the midfield despite Messiah finishing with an 8-1 advantage in shots and 10-1 advantage in penalty corners.
