After trading the first two sets back and forth, Gettysburg claimed the final two to beat Stockton.
THE LEADERS

Kylie Ulrich (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) contributed with 13 kills and nine digs.

Brooke Lauletta (Coatesville, Pa./Downington East) tallied seven kills and 11 digs.

THE FOES
• Kate Louer led the Ospreys with 12 kills.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gettysburg and Stockton remained close early, coming up with four ties before a final 6-all knot. Gettysburg soon tore out to a 24-11 lead, and a kill from
Kylie Ulrich won the set for the Bullets.
• Stockton led the Bullets by a few points in the second set, before they knotted the score at 8-all. Four more ties followed, t led early in the second set, gaining a lead as big as 6-3 before the Bullets scored three successive points to tie the set at 6-all. Six more ties followed, with the last being an 16-all score, before the Ospreys gained the lead. They would not give it up the rest of the set, going 8-3 to put themselves at set point, and a Bullets error won them the second set.
• After winning the second set, Stockton maintained their momentum to lead over the Bullets as big as 12-9 in the third. The Bullets tied the score 12-all, and then took the lead for themselves, getting out to 24-17 before the Ospreys committed an error to give Gettyburg the third set.
• In the final set, the two teams traded the lead back and forth, forcing a 13-all tie. The Bullets emerged with it, though Stockton was able to bring the score within one at 18-17. Gettysburg only allowed two more points for the Ospreys, moving to 24-19 before a Stockton attack error won the match for the Bullets.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg had the advantage in kills 47-56 and digs 57-43.
