• Gettysburg and Mont Alto remained within two points early in the first set, until the Lions scored three straight points for a 14-11 edge. The Bullets managed to tie it up at 16-all before going on a 7-4 run. An attack error for each team put the Bullets at set point with a score of 24-22, and a Zanze Kuba-McCoy kill put the set away.
• The second set saw the Bullets get out to a commanding 15-5 lead the teams basically traded points to make it a 24-15 score. After incurring an attack error, Kylie Ulrich rebounded with a kill assisted by Kendall Erpenbeck to win the second set.
• Gettysburg started the third set with the first four points but Mont Alto rallied, tying the score three times and coming within one point seven other times to put the set at 10-9. The Bullets began to pull away with a 13-8 run, stretching the score to 23-17. A block from Kuba-McCoy and Catherine Holtz (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) made it match point, and an attack error by the Lions sealed the deal.
