THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the 14th minute, Bella Touzeau played a ball to Kaitlyn Laird in the top-left corner of the box. Laird turned and blasted a shot across the box into the backside of the net for a 1-0 lead. Just over 27-and-a-half minutes later, Kristina Akselsen played a ball across the top to Olivia Shuck, who – from a spot similar to Laird but a little deeper – fired a ball in nearly the same spot, pin-pointing a goal just into the upper-right corner of the net for a 2-0 halftime lead.
• After Julia Martin's initial shot was turned away in the 57th minute, Hannah Adair was there to clean it up and fire it back home for a 3-0 lead. Lydia Ring took advantage of a loose ball in front of the goal for the final tally in the 74th minute.
