GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Four members of the Gettysburg women's soccer team were named to the Division III Academic All-District women's soccer team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), announced recently.

Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Dec. 16.

The following Bullets women's soccer players were honored as part of the program:

• Senior Petra Brown (Huntington, N.Y./Harborsfield), a political science major
• Senior Jane Daiutolo (Wayne, Pa./Radnor), an economics and public policy major
• Senior Elise Fox (Westfield, N.J./Westfield), a business, organizations and management major
• Junior Alex Jurow (Teaneck, N.J./Parsippany Hills), a political science and public policy major

Fox earned her third straight honor after being selected as a sophomore and junior while Brown, Daiutolo and Jurow each earned their second straight honor after being selected last year.

To be nominated for the Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve. Up to six eligible student-athletes per institution can be selected to the all-district team.
