THE SKINNY STORY
Muhlenberg, ranked 21st in the latest D3football.com poll, scored three straight touchdowns in the second quarter to break open a 13-6 game en route to a 41-13 victory over Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS
•
Aidan Feulner (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) led the Bullets with a career-best 100 yards receiving that included an 80-yard touchdown catch.
FOR THE FOES
• Joe Repetti led the Mules with 125 yards on 13 of 24 passing with four touchdowns. He also ran for 79 more on 10 carries.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After neither team could get much traction offensively, Muhlenberg took over at midfield with 5:09 to play in the first quarter and converted a fourth-and-6 with a 32-yard Joshua Castro catch-and-run for a 7-0 lead with 3:29 to play. Amari Dunn broke off a 22-yard run on the next offensive series but a missed PAT kept it a 13-0 game with seven ticks remaining.
• With the Mules punting from their own 25,
Chris Singleton, Jr. (Catonsville, Md./Georgetown Prep) blocked the kick and
Peter Corcoran (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) scooped the ball up and returned it 15 yards for a touchdown to make it a 13-6 game with 12:00 to play in the second quarter. Dunn then capped a 3-play, 28-yard drive with a four-yard touchdown catch to start of stretch of three straight Muhlenberg series that ended with touchdowns. James Nye caught a touchdown pass to end a 3-play, 12-yard drive with 9:31 remaining for two scores in 56 seconds. A Matthew Manning 18-run made it 34-6 with 4:41 to play in the opening half.
• The defenses once again took over in the third quarter before Joe Repetti found Timothy Buda for a six-yard touchdown grab with 6:55 to play in the fourth quarter.
Konrad Vandborg (Gentofte, Denmark/Rabun Gap) hit
Aidan Feulner in stride on the first play after a punt for an 80-yard scoring strike for the final margin with 4:14 on the clock.
THE INSIDE STORY

Chris Singleton, Jr. had his 11th career blocked kick, establishing a new Centennial Conference record.
• The 80-yard touchdown pass from
Konrad Vandborg to
Aidan Feulner was the Bullets' longest offensive play since Oct. 30, 2021.
• Muhlenberg outgained Gettysburg 361-286 on a wet and sloppy Homecoming to retain the Old Tin Cup.
