Morgan Cherry (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) scored the golden goal just 110 seconds into the extra period.

• After several corners and shots by Ursinus that didn't find the mark in the second quarter, Gettysburg took a penalty corner that was saved, and rebounded to
Sarah Scott, who knocked it in to get Gettysburg on the board.
• Just 1:43 into the third quarter, Ursinus evened the score with a goal by Marie Brainard from Kirsten Johnson. Gettysburg took two more shots to finish the quarter but neither made it in the cage.
• The fourth quarter saw two shots by each team, but neither team found the back of the net to yield overtime. In the extra minutes, a Gettysburg shot yielded a penalty corner, which
Hailey Rhine (Denver, Colo./St. Mary's Academy) sent to Cherry for the golden goal.
