Gettysburg College Athletics

Tonight's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 36th meeting between Gettysburg (5-3-1, 3-1 CC) and Dickinson (7-3, 3-1 CC) in a series that dates back to 1988. The Bullets lead the all-time series 21-9-5 but the teams played to a scoreless deadlock last season and are 2-2-3 against each other since 2016.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg and Dickinson played an even game with both teams taking turns on the attack but neither offense could break through in a scoreless draw last season. Caitlin Amman stopped eight shots for the Bullets to earn her fourth shutout of the year. Meg Tate led the Red Devils with six shots. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg scored midway through the first half for the lone goal of a 1-0 win at Muhlenberg on Saturday. Hannah Kernis scored her second goal of the season for the Bullets. Paige Addis led the Mules with two shots on goal. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

ONE BY FOUR: Gettysburg has won four straight games - all by a single goal. Three of those four victories have been 1-0 wins for the Bullets. The other victory was a 2-1 win at Haverford that had the game-winner scored by Petra Brown in the final 30 seconds of the game. Freshman Alex Jurow has posted three shutouts in the stretch with 14 saves over the four games. Her 0.40 goals-against average ranks third in the conference while her .900 save percentage is second.

LAST TIME OUT: Ava Burgess netted her first collegiate goal - one of five different players to hit the back of the net in a 5-0 Dickinson victory over Haverford on Saturday. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

A TILTED FIELD: Dickinson has played six straight games that have ended with a shutout. The Red Devils have alternated wins and losses over that stretch. The three Dickinson wins have all come on Saturdays, defeating Washington 2-0 on Sept. 16, Muhlenberg 3-0 on Sept. 23 and Haverford 5-0 last Saturday. The midweek losses have come to York (2-0, Sept. 13), Johns Hopkins (1-0, Sept. 20), and Messiah (2-0, Sept. 27).
