Franklin & Marshall made a second-quarter goal stand up as the only tally of the game for a 1-0 victory over Gettysburg.

Emilia Saccento (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood) made 10 saves in goal.
FOR THE FOES
• Sophie Carroll contributed the only score of the day.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Franklin & Marshall outshot Gettysburg 7-1 in the first quarter, with Saccento making two saves, but it took until the 23rd minute for Keira Boensch to get the ball to Sophie Carroll for her second tally of the season to give the Diplomats the 1-0 advantage.

Sam Woolery (Media, Pa./Penncrest) had Gettysburg's sole good look the rest of the game, but it was saved by Diplomats goalie Meghan Dole, as Franklin & Marshall again outshot the Bullets 11-2 over the final two quarters.

• Franklin & Marshall held a 7-1 advantage in corners and a 25-4 shot advantage.
