THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg played Haverford to three competitive sets decided by four or fewer points, but the Bullets pulled off the shutout of the Fords, 3-0.
THE LEADERS

Alycen Radolovic (Willoughby, Ohio/The Beaumont School) led the Bullets in kills with nine and was second in digs with 16.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• The first set saw nine early ties, the last at 12-all. From there, Haverford emerged with a 16-14 lead before Gettysburg again tied the score 16-all on a kill by
Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck) and block by Huegel and Holtz. The set saw ties again at 17, 18, 20, and 21-all, before Gettysburg used two Haverford errors and a Huegel kill to get to set point, 24-21. A service error gave Haverford one more point on the set before
Kylie Ulrich (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) killed the ball for a 25-22 Bullets first set win.
• Gettysburg strode out to a 3-0 lead on two Haverford errors and an
Olivia Biggs (Winchester, Va./James Wood) kill before Haverford went 6-2 with the Bullets to take a one-point advantage. The score went back and forth before a tie at 10-all, where Gettysburg went 8-6 with the Fords to lead by just two. The set saw another tie at 18-all, before Gettysburg went off on a 6-0 run to lead 24-18. Huegel had two kills in the stretch. Gettysburg gave up three more points before
Brooke Lauletta (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown East) spiked the ball for a 25-21 second set victory.
• Haverford was the one with the early lead in set three, leading 13-10 at one point before Gettysburg went on a 3-0 run, with kills by Biggs and
Chelsea O'Leary (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) to tie the score, 13-all. Just like previous sets, the score tied a few times after that point, at 14-all and 21-all as Gettysburg again made a 3-0 run with two kills Lauletta. The Bullets put together another 3-0 run to get to match point, 24-22, before giving up one more point. A Haverford service error ended the match, 25-23, in favor of Gettysburg.
