THE SKINNY STORY
Johns Hopkins, ranked seventh in the latest United Soccer Coaches' Div. III poll, scored just over seven minutes into the game en route to a 5-0 win over Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS

Jordan Weinberg (Jacksonville Beach, Fla./Winchester [Mass.]) recorded a pair of shots on free kicks to lead the Bullets.
FOR THE FOES
• Maria Romo-Nichols led the Blue Jays with a goal and an assist.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Intercepting an attempted clear, Katie Sullivan settled the ball before blasting a 25-yard shot into the upper-left corner of the net for a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute. Maria Romo-Nichols then found Juliana Taxter to double the lead in the 21st minute.
• In the 52nd minute, Ava Venuti played a ball across the box where Megha Salvi was waiting on the back post to sneak the ball just inside the right post and stretch the lead to 3-0. Romo-Nichols and Katia Chiampas then scored 51 seconds apart for the final margin in the 77th minute.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Johns Hopkins finished with advantages of 20-2 in shots and 6-0 in corner kicks.
• Gettysburg had its five-game winning streak snapped with the loss. It is the first of back-to-back top-10 foes for the Bullets.
