INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Gettysburg will travel to Cambridge, Mass., for the 2023 NCAA Division III women's volleyball regional, beginning on Thursday.
The Bullets (23-5) earned an at-large bid into the field of 64 after falling to Johns Hopkins 3-0 in the Centennial Conference (CC) title match on Sunday in Baltimore.
Gettysburg is making its 14th NCAA tournament appearance and first since 2005. It is the first time under the current selection format that the Bullets received an at-large selection.
Playing in Rockwell Cage on the campus of MIT, Gettysburg, the fifth seed in the regional, will play fourth-seeded Cortland. The Red Dragons (25-3) defeated New Paltz on Saturday to win the SUNYAC championship. Match time is 4:30 p.m.
The winner of that match will face the winner of the final first-round matchup between Alfred and top-seeded MIT on Friday. Salisbury takes on Williams in the first match of the day at 11:30 a.m. while second-seeded Claremont-Mudd-Scripps squares off with UMass-Dartmouth in the second match of the day. Those two winners will meet in the other regional semifinal on Friday with the winners meeting on Saturday.
The regional champion will advance to the championship round at Roberts Pavilion in Claremont, Calif., on Nov. 29-Dec. 2.
Admission to the regional is $6 for general admission, $4 for students and $3 for children under the age of 12. Tickets will be cash only at the door.

Kylie Ulrich (Lancaster, Pa./Hampstead) leads the attack with 253 kills. She is one of five players with 100 or more kills this season. Ulrich is also fourth on the team in total blocks (46). Junior
Sophie Nasir (Covina, Calif./St. Lucy's Priory) has contributed 487 assists and 27 aces. She also has 239 digs.
Senior
Chelsea O'Leary (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) leads the defense with 475 digs. Sophomore
Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck) leads Division III's fourth-ranked blocking team with 121 blocks. Junior
Catherine Holtz (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) and senior
Olivia Biggs (Winchester, Va./James Wood) have added 65 and 63 blocks, respectively. As a team, the Bullets have 240 blocks (2.42 blocks per set).
