THE SKINNY STORY
Tied at 36-all, Gettysburg used a 15-0 run over a 5-minute, 25-second span of the second half to take control and ultimately defeat Dickinson, 62-48.
THE LEADERS
•
Akim Joseph (Port-au-Prince, Haiti/Notre Dame Fairfield [Conn.]) led the Bullets with a career-best 25 points, hitting 11 of his 18 field-goal attempts. He also pulled down seven rebounds and had three steals.

Nate Williams (Morganville, N.J./St. John Vianney) added 20 points that included hitting four 3-pointers. He also had seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
FOR THE FOES
• David Petrusev paced the Red Devils with 18 points.
• Nate Ogbu added 14 points and seven rebounds.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• A back-and-forth first half started with Dickinson building a 10-3 lead through the first seven minutes of the game. David Petrusev and Isaiah Edmond contributed all 10 Red Devil points, scoring five each. Trailing 16-10,
Akim Joseph scored nine straight points, including the last five directly off turnovers, to put the hosts in front 19-16 with 5;20 to play. After an exchange of buckets, a Joseph step-back triple stretched the lead to its largest at 27-20 with 3:06 on the clock. Dickinson rattled off the next seven to tie the game once again but
Jordan Stafford (Galloway, N.J./St. Joseph Hammonton) hit a pair of driving layups in the final 44 seconds to give Gettysburg a 31-27 halftime edge.
• Four straight points from Nate Ogbu tied the game at 36-all with 15:43 remaining before a
Carl Schaller (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) layup on an outlet with 15:02 showing sparked the game-changing 15-0 run. Williams connected on back-to-back 3-pointers that stretched the lead to 49-36 before two Schaller tosses from the charity stripe made it a 51-36 game with 9:37 on the clock. Dickinson closed to 10 on two occasions down the stretch but got no closer.
THE INSIDE STORY
•
Ryan McKeon (Landenberg, Pa./Sanford [Del.]) led the way on the glass for Gettysburg with eight rebounds as part of a 37-29 advantage on the night that included 11 offensive boards for the Bullets.
• Gettysburg shot 42.3 percent from the floor while limiting Dickinson to 37.0 percent.
