Gettysburg controlled Ursinus from the beginning, never letting the Bears get closer than 13 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Cynthia Williams (North Brunswick, N.J./Hill School) tallied 10 points on four-of-five shooting, to go with seven rebounds and two blocks.

Alayna Arnolie (Vienna, Va./James Madison) also registered 10 points, along with five assists.
•
Mackenzie Szlosek (Holtsville, N.Y./Sachem East) led the Bullets with 13 points.

THE REST OF THE STORY

Emily Violante (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) kicked off the scoring for Gettysburg in the first minute of play, and
Meghan Barbera (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin),
Alayna Arnolie, and
Caitlyn Priore (Holland, Pa./Germantown Academy) stretched Gettysburg's lead out to 13-0 with 4:45 showing in the first quarter. Ursinus finally got on the board with a Madison Smith jumper on their next possession, and the teams traded baskets for the rest of the quarter to yield a Gettysburg 18-7 lead going into the second.

Cynthia Williams connected on the Bullets' first possession in the second, but Madison Smith answered right away with a jumper of her own. No points were scored for the next minute and a half, before Priore knocked down another jumper to kickstart a 10-7 run that carried the Bullets into the locker room, doubled up on Ursinus, 32-16.
• Barbera hit a jumper in the first 20 seconds of the second half to start a 18-0 run that carried the Bullets to a massive 50-16 lead. Chinwe Irondi made a layup for Ursinus to register the Bears' first points of the half, before Williams made a pair at the line to kick off another Bullets run, 6-2. The Bullets led by 36 going into the final quarter of play.
• Irondi hit a jumper just over a minute into the final quarter of play, before
Shinya Lee (Rochester, N.Y./Holderness Prep School) and Kelly Grant traded baskets to make it 58-24.
Dejah Hill (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) hit two at the line, along with two buckets, to kick off a 7-3 run for the Bullets that was capped by a
Courtney Kelly (Morristown, N.J./Madison) 3-pointer. In the final two minutes, Charlotte DiLello made a basket for Ursinus and
Kimberly Hopkins scored her first of the game to end it for the Bullets, 69-29.

Emily Violante also had nine points.
• Gettysburg hit 50.9% of their field goals on the night, while Ursinus converted on 20.8%.
