THE SKINNY STORY
Big second half pushes helped Gettysburg come back from a deficit, and although Dickinson got close in the waning minutes, the Bullets came away with a 13-point win.

THE LEADERS
Carl Schaller (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) tallied 21 points to lead the Bullets, along with four steals.
Jordan Stafford (Galloway, N.J./Saint Joseph Hammonton) was the other Bullet in double-digits, with 17 points.
Ryan McKeon (Landenberg, Pa./Sanford [Del.]) grabbed nine rebounds, put up four blocks, and scored six points.

FOR THE FOES
• Martin Mann led the Red Devils with a double-double, notching 18 points and 13 rebounds.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• An Anthony Goeb layup by the Red Devils started the scoring off, but Carl Schaller quickly countered with a 3-pointer. Goeb added his own three, and Martin Mann scored his first basket of the night on the next possession for the Red Devils. A bucket by Jordan Stafford and Schaller free throw brought the Bullets within one, but the Red Devils went on a 12-5 run to forge a 19-11 lead with 7:23 showing in the half. Schaller knocked down another trey to bring the Bullets within five, and buckets by Max Pernetti (Oakland, N.J./Ramapo) and Stafford, as well as a Stafford triple, tied the game at 21-all with 2:04 in the half. Schaller hit a bucket to offset a free throw by Isaiah Edmond, and a Stafford layup was countered by a Red Devils basket to give Gettysburg the narrow 25-24 edge going into the locker rooms.
• A free throw by Mann early in the second tied it up, 27-all, before Stafford converted a 3-point play that started a 9-3 run to put the Bullets up by seven. Four different Bullets scored within the stretch. Three minutes elapsed before the Red Devils were able to break through as Isaiah Edmond hit a pair at the line, and Anthony Goeb drove into the paint to cut the Bullets' lead to three. However, a 10-2 run by the Bullets pushed their lead back out to 11, with baskets by McKeon, and triples by Schaller and Rassoul Abakar (Cameroon/Notre Dame Fairfield [Conn.]). With a layup by Sukky Nd-Ezuma (Abuja, Nigeria/West Catholic [Pa.]) and free throw by Stafford, the lead rose as high as 12 with 3:45 left to play. In the waning minutes, both teams hit 10 fouls, and Dickinson was able to convert on four free throws. Mann made two layups to cut the deficit to five, but the Bullets hit six free throws in the final 90 seconds to maintain a lead of 64-58 with only eight seconds left. In the final two seconds, Edmond made a 3-pointer, and Schaller was sent to the line to knock down his last pair of the night to earn the Bullets the 66-59 win.
