THE LEADERS
• Lauren O'Leary (Manasquan, N.J./Jackson Memorial) led the Bullets with five hits on the day. She went 3-for-4 with three runs scored in game one and 2-for-3 with a pair of runs in game two.
• Gianna Peralta (Gillette, N.J./Union Catholic) added three hits that included a pair of triples against Penn State-Harrisburg.

FOR THE FOES
• Kierstyn Smith had the lone hit for the Lions.
• Reghan Benschoter had two of the five hits for the Yellow Jackets.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Lauren O'Leary singled up the middle to start the first game before stealing second and taking scoring on a dropped fly ball. A pair of two-out singles from Giovanna Komst (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) and Carlie Goldstein (Verona, Va./Verona) made it a 2-0 game with runners at first and second. Gianna Peralta followed with a triple to center, scoring both runners to double the advantage.
• Bailey Quinn (Hanford, Calif./Robinson Secondary School [Va.]) led off the second with a triple before O'Leary followed with a triple. A Julia Smith (Marydel, Md./Queen Anne's County) RBI groundout made it a 6-0 game.
• A one-out error followed by Peralta's second triple and a Michaela Carroll (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) double to the gap made it 8-0 before another dropped fly ball stretched the lead to 9-0.
• Kierstyn Smith led off the home third with a single before a pair of walks and a RBI groundball made it 9-1.
• Morgan DeFreitas (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown West) led off the top of the fifth with a pinch-hit single through the left side before scoring on a Carroll double. After a one-out O'Leary double but runners at second and Julia Schinik (Osprey, Fla./Watchung Hills Regional [N.J.]) pinch hit and drew a walk to load the bases. A wild pitch allowed Carroll to score before O'Leary scored on a throwing error after a strikeout for the 12-1 final.
• Against Waynesburg, O'Leary led off the bottom of the first with a double to left before Smith followed with an RBI single for a 1-0 lead. A one-out Allegra DeCandia (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) infield single and two-out Elliana Hopple (Collegeville, Pa./The Episcopal Academy) single doubled the advantage.
• O'Leary led off the fifth with a single before scoring on a DeCandia two-out base hit to left, making it a 3-0 game.
• Peralta started the sixth with a single before taking second on a wild pitch, third on a ground out and scoring on an O'Leary sacrifice fly for the final margin.
