THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored three runs in the seventh inning of game one then posted a shutout in game two to sweep Hood. The Bullets captured game one 5-2 before winning the nightcap, 4-0.
THE LEADERS
•
Olivia Moser (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville) had a hit in each game to eclipse 100 for her Bullets career.
•
Jasmin Herrera (Hollywood, Fla./Cooper City) went the distance in the circle in game two with six strikeouts.
FOR THE FOES
• Chloe Saunders led the Blazers with two hits in the nightcap.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In game one, the Blazers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second. After two walks, Alyssa Walters poked a tailing two-out double to left for the early lead.
•
Olivia Moser doubled with one out in the fourth inning for career hit No. 100 before scoring on a two-out error.
Giovanna Komst (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) then scored on a wild pitch to tie the game.
•
Allie Cluster (Pasadena, Md./Mount de Sales Academy) doubled to lead off the seventh before a
Jordan Pansy (Stroudsburg, Pa./Notre Dame) single put runners at the corners.
Lauren O'Leary (Manasquan, N.J./Jackson Memorial) followed with a single to left to plate Cluster for the lead. A muffed throw on a bunt attempt allowed Pansy to score before a Moser RBI groundout plated O'Leary from third for a 5-2 lead.

Megan Hughes (Woodstock, Md./Marriotts Ridge) worked around a pair of errors in the bottom of the inning to pick up the victory in the circle.
• In game two, Komst led off the second with a single before
Allegra DeCandia (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) launched a two-run home run to left field for a 2-0 lead.

Julia Smith (Marydel, Md./Queen Anne's County) drew a one-out walk in the fifth before a Moser single and error loaded the bases. DeCandia followed with a single to left to stretch the lead to 3-0.
• Cluster led off the sixth with an infield single more moving to second on a sacrifice and scoring on an error for the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY

Julia Smith had two hits to lead the way in game one for the Bullets.

Allegra DeCandia recorded three hits in game two while
Giovanna Komst and
Jess Campana (Brick, N.J./St. John Vianney) had two hits each.

Megan Hughes struck out four without a walk in 2 1/3 innings of relief work for the win in game one.
