Gettysburg got goals from three different scorers to build a 3-1 first-half lead that held for the final margin over Bridgewater.

Olivia Palermo (Charlotte, N.C./St. Timothy's School) registered her first collegiate point as one of the three goal scorers for the Bullets in the victory.

• Daphne Daymude scored the lone goal for the Eagles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Off a corner in the 12th minute,
Morgan Cherry (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) slipped the ball to the left wing, where
Olivia Regan (Millburn, N.J./Millburn) was able to knock it home.
• In the first two minutes of the second quarter,
Bella Bonazinga (Spring Lake, N.J./Wall) redirected a feed off another penalty corner back to the post where
Jillian Somers (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) was waiting to put it home. Just over two minutes later, Daphne Daymude was in position off the goalie's pads to score on a rebound off a Carynn Klingler shot and save. The Bullets pushed the lead back to two at the 25:11 mark on a scramble in front of the cage. Off a long pass in,
Gaby Markunas (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) redirected the ball up to
Olivia Palermo, who fired it past the keeper.
• The defenses took over more in the second half with neither team getting another quality look at the cage.
THE INSIDE STORY
• All three Gettysburg goal scorers –

Olivia Palermo – recorded their first collegiate goals in the contest.
• The Bullets finished with a 9-4 edge in shots and 9-5 advantage in penalty corners.
