Gettysburg and Haverford each scored one goal in the first half and remained deadlocked until the final 24 seconds of play, when
Petra Brown (Huntington, N.Y./Harborfields) buried her first career goal to gave Gettysburg the 2-1 victory.

• Just 13 minutes into the first half,
Zoe Want (Redondo Beach, Calif./Redondo Union) took a corner kick for the Bullets that found its way to
Elise Fox, who drove the first shot of the game by either team into the back of the net for a 1-0 Gettysburg lead.
• Gettysburg goalie
Alex Jurow (Boonton, N.J./Parsippany Hills) turned away two shots before Sarah Klink snuck in an unassisted goal in the 36th minute of play. Haverford had two more attempts in the frame, but neither were on target.
• A back-and-forth second half saw the Fords and the Bullets each take four shots, with Jurow making two saves, but only Brown would find the back of the net the rest of the way. With just over a minute to play, a Gettysburg throw-in was deflected out and the Bullets were awarded a corner kick. The ball found its way to
Morgan Hobson (Rumson, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven Regional), who tipped it over to Brown for her game-winning goal with just 24 seconds left in the game.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Haverford outshot Gettysburg 10-6, but only five of the Fords' shots were on cage, while four of Gettysburg's were.
