Johns Hopkins, ranked third in the latest NFHCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored in the opening minute of the second quarter en route to a 2-0 win at Gettysburg.

• Sydney DelBello scored the first goal of the afternoon for the Blue Jays.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After an even first quarter, Johns Hopkins capitalized on the only shot of the second period. Off a corner just 38 seconds into the quarter, Jenna Halpin sent a shot in from the top of the arc that Sydney DelBello was able to get a stick on and tip up and into the goal for a 1-0 lead.
• The Blue Jays added an Emily Amsden penalty-stroke goal in 56th minute for the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Johns Hopkins finished with an 8-2 edge in shots and 20-5 advantage in penalty corners.
