THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg got an early goal and withstood a second-half flurry from Dickinson for a key 1-0 Centennial Conference victory.
THE LEADERS

Noah Holgado (Middletown, Del./Salesianum School) scored the goal for the Bullets.

Kevin Muhic (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) backstopped a solid defensive effort with four saves for the second shutout of the year.

• Alexander Henrich made one save for the Red Devils.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the 16th minute,
James Blake (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) took a ball into the left corner of the box and lofted a cross to the top of the six.
Noah Holgado got his head on it and bounced it into the back of the net for an early 1-0 lead.
• Gettysburg carried play for the majority of the next 40 minutes but – despite a few dangerous opportunities – could not get a second tally. Dickinson flipped the field for the middle portion of the second half but could not get a great look through the Bullets' backline.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Dickinson finished the game with a 14-6 advantage in shots, including 10-1 in the second half, and 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
