THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored the first 10 points of the second half to open up a 22-point lead and never looked back in a 67-39 win over Washington (Md.).

THE LEADERS
Akim Joseph (Port-au-Prince, Haiti/Notre Dame Fairfield [Conn.]) led the Bullets with 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Jordan Stafford (Galloway, N.J./St. Joseph Hammonton) added 13 points to go with a season-best six assists.

FOR THE FOES
• Kedrick Frink was the only Shoremen player to reach double figures, netting 11.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• A Nate Williams (Morganville, N.J./St. John Vianney) putback and two Ryan McKeon (Landenberg, Pa./Sanford [Del.]) layups put Gettysburg in front 6-0 before a Jordan Stafford steal-and-layup stretched the lead to eight with 17:22 on the clock. After Davis Bland got Washington on the board just over a minute later, Stafford responded with a triple and Akim Joseph hit a pair of free throws to make it a double-digit advantage with 13:41 remaining. Six straight Washington points closed the margin to 13-8 but a Max Pernetti (Oakland, N.J./Ramapo) layup got a 10-2 run started, extended the lead to 23-10 with 8:40 showing. The Shoremen once again closed to within six before Gettysburg opened up a lead as large as 14 en route to a 32-20 halftime edge.
• Three different Bullets hit shots, including two Joseph treys from the right side, to quickly make it a 42-20 game before five minutes had elapsed in the second half. Washington snapped the drought with a Bland step-back jumper but that was as close as the visitors got the rest of the way. After a Williams layup made it 52-26 with 10:25 on the clock, the lead remained above 25 points for the remainder of the game. A Rassoul Abakar (Cameron/Notre Dame Fairfield [Conn.]) 3-pointer with 95 seconds remaining gave the host a 30-point lead for the first time but Ethan Schwantes responded with a turnaround for the final margin.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 47-22 rebounding advantage. The plus-25 advantage was the Bullets' largest of the season.
Nate Williams finished a rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Max Pernetti chipped in eight points and three rebounds.
