THE SKINNY STORY
The Bullets took first place in all but three events to beat the University of Mary Washington 175-87.
THE LEADERS
•
Charlie Cross (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) had a hat trick of individual events. He first won the 100 breaststroke (59.86) before taking first in the 200 breaststroke (2:10.73). He rounded out the day with gold in the 400 IM (4:13.30). Cross was also a member of the first-place winning 400 Medley Relay B-Team.

Lorenzo Zullo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) also had a four-win day. He competed on the same 400 Medley Relay winning-team with Cross before taking victory in the 50 freestyle (21.67) and the 100 freestyle (48.04). Zullo finished with a win in the 200 Freestyle Relay.

Edward Kim (Weston, Conn./Weston) tallied two individual wins in the 100 backstroke (52.70) and the 200 backstroke (1:55.43). He also placed first in the 200 Freestyle Relay with Zullo and came second in the 400 Medley Relay.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The 400 Medley Relay B-Team of
Cort Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic), Cross,
Hunter Sundlun (Richmond, Va./St. Christophers School), and Zullo started the meet by winning first place with a swim of 3:32.45. The A-Team, of Kim,
Declan Sheeran (McLean, Va./McLean),
Trey Mitchell (Rehoboth Beach, Del./Sussex Academy), and
Cole Martin (Penn Laird, Va./Spotswood) placed second with a time of 3:33.43.

Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) led
Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) in a 1-2 1000 freestyle finish. McKenna took first by a massive 21 seconds (9:53.26), and Nelson swam a 10:14.27. McKenna also placed second in the 400 IM (4:15.87).
• Sheeran placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.35).

Sam Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) led
Conor Vienneau (Newburg, Md./LaPlata) and
Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) to a sweep of the top three spots in the 500 freestyle.
Sam Nelson (4:53.83) just out touched Vieanneau (4:53.89), who finished almost five seconds ahead of
Harry Nelson (4:58.56).

Jack Murphy (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) placed second in the 100 backstroke (55.11).
THE INSIDE STORY
•
Sam Nelson and Vienneau went 2-3 in the 200 freestyle. Nelson clocked in at 1:47.74 while Vienneau swam a 1:48.00.
• Sheeran and Mitchell finished 2-3 behind Cross in the 100 breaststroke. Sheeran clocked in at 1:00.76, just before Mitchell (1:00.73).

John Verosko (Gainesville, Pa./Patriot) and
Mason Dillon (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) went 2-3 in the 200 butterfly. Verosko had a 2:00.46, while Dillon swam a 2:02.26.
•
Charter Sasseville (North Yarmouth, Maine/Greely) and Murphy placed second and third, respectively, in the 200 backstroke. Sasseville clocked in at 1:59.05 while Murphy had a 2:00.07.
• Hobelmann finished third in the 50 freestyle (22.34).
