OPENING TIP: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 60th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (13-5, 9-2 CC) and Swarthmore (11-7, 8-3 CC) in a series that dates back to 1906. The Bullets lead the all-time series 31-28 and have won two of the last three matchups after the Garnet had won 10 in a row.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Jordan Stafford put up 18 of 38 Gettysburg's first-half points to carve out a 13-point lead after the first stanza, and the defense and offense worked in lockstep to nearly replicate the opening 20 minutes in the final period en route to a 74-51 final score at Swarthmore on Jan. 6. LAST TIME OUT: Franklin & Marshall overcome an early deficit, turning a nine-point deficit into a four-point halftime edge before leading for the majority of the second half and defeating Gettysburg 81-76 on Thursday. Akim Joseph led the Bullets with his first collegiate double-double, registering 24 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Vakaris Grauslys paced the Diplomats with 29 points and four assists. HE'S NO ZERO: Akim Joseph recorded his first collegiate double-double on Thursday night. He had matched his previous high of seven rebounds before halftime and finished with 14 boards to go with 24 points. The 24 points was his second career 20-point performance and one off his career high of 25 earlier this season. He led the squad on a night when all five starters reached double digits and accounted for 74 of the Bullets' 76 points. In fact, of the 157 total points scored in the game at Franklin & Marshall, 149 were scored by the 10 starters.

LAST TIME OUT: Swarthmore scored the game's first 13 points and fended off a late rally to defeat Washington 76-55 on Thursday. Michael Caprise recorded his fourth 20-point effort of the season, finishing with 21 on 8-of-12 shooting. He also tied his season high with 15 rebounds to pick up his seventh double-double. NOT ALL THAT CLOSE: Swarthmore has had just five of 18 games decided by single digits this season, which included three straight single-digit wins early in the season. After a 20-point loss to Washington (Mo.) in the opener, the Garnet used a buzzer-beater to upend NYU by one the next day. That was followed by a six-point win over Cabrini and four-point victory over DeSales. Since Nov. 18, however, 12 of Swarthmore's 14 games have had a final margin of 10 points or more, including eight by 19 or more points. The only single-digits game have both been losses - an overtime defeat to Rowan and four-point home setback to Johns Hopkins.
