THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg used an 18-5 second-half run to turn a six-point deficit into a seven-point lead, ultimately defeating Swarthmore 74-67 to complete the season sweep.

THE LEADERS
Jordan Stafford (Galloway, N.J./St. Joseph Hammonton) led the Bullets with a career-high 25 points to go with a season-best 10 rebounds for his first career 20-point, 10-rebound game.
Carl Schaller (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) matched his season best with 22 points, hitting 6 of 8 from the floor and 8 of 9 from the free-throw line.

FOR THE FOES
• Eddie Paquette led the Garnet with 20 points.
• Michael Caprise added 17 points and nine rebounds.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• After a scoreless first two minutes, Jordan Stafford hit a jumper and then the second of two free throws for a 3-0 lead with 17:15 left. Layups from Vinny DeAngelo and Michael Caprise in the next 40 seconds put Swarthmore in front by one before three lead changes over the next two minutes. Five straight points from Carl Schaller gave the hosts a 10-6 edge with 14:03 to play. A Nate Williams (Morganville, N.J./St. John Vianney) 3-pointer on the break put the Bullets on top 15-10 with 11:28 on the clock. Swarthmore eventually worked the game back to even at 19-all nearly four minutes later. The teams traded points until Williams drained a triple with 2:30 to play for a 28-27 halftime lead.
• The Garnet, however, opened the second half on a 10-4 run to take a 37-32 lead with 16:46 showing. Trailing 44-36, Schaller drained a second-chance 3-pointer but DeAngelo responded at the other end with a jumper to make it a 46-39 game with 13:34 remaining. Five straight points from Schaller, however, trimmed the margin to two just 39 seconds later. The lead extended back to 50-44 on two Cal Hanson free throws with 11:38 on the clock. Williams, however, drove and hit and then Stafford drained a step-back 3-pointer to make it a 50-49 game. One Akim Joseph (Port-au-Prince, Haiti/Notre Dame Fairfield [Conn.]) free throw tied the game at the midway point of the period. Joseph then once again hit 1 of 2 from the line a minute later for a one-point edge. The teams traded single free throws over the next three minutes before Williams buried a triple with 6:03 on the clock for a 55-53 lead. Aidan Mess (Brookeville, Md./Mt. St. Joseph) added a layup and Williams hit another second-chance jumper for a 59-53 lead with 3:42 to play. Williams drained another trey to push the lead as high as 62-55. Swarthmore twice got back to within three but the Bullets hit 10 of their 12 free-throw attempts down the stretch to secure the victory.
