Tonight's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 89th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (3-3-5, 0-2-2 CC) and Johns Hopkins (7-2-3, 3-0-1 CC) in a series that dates back to 1936. The Blue Jays lead the all-time series 55-23-10 and have won the last two matchups. The last Bullets victory was by a 4-1 margin in the CC semifinals Baltimore on Nov. 5, 2021.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Johns Hopkins broke a 2-all deadlock with a tally in the 76th minute to edge Gettysburg 3-2 last season. Chase Sempervive found the back of the net for the Bullets. Jacob Sardinha netted the game-winner for the Blue Jays. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg scored a goal in the first half before Muhlenberg responded in the second half for a 1-all draw. Leandro Ribeiro made three saves for the Bullets. Saleem Diakite found the back of the net and the equalizer for the Mules. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

THE OFFENSE TRAVELS: Gettysburg has been more offensively minded in road games this season. In four road games, the Bullets have averaged 3.0 goals per game, including scoring multiple goals in each of the last three road trips. At home, however, that average drops to just 1.14 goals per game. Gettysburg has scored just one goal in each of the last six home games. The only time this season the Orange and Blue has scored multiple goals on Clark Field in 2024 was a 2-1 win over Sewanee in the opener. Conversely, the defense has met similar fate. The goals-against average at home is 1.29 but jumps to 1.50 on the road, including multiple goals allowed in each of the two road conference games.

LAST TIME OUT: Johns Hopkins finished in a 1-all draw at Salisbury on Wednesday. It took more than 75 minutes for either team to get on the board. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

ROLLING ALONG: The Blue Jays are unbeaten in their last eight outings, posting a 5-0-3 record after starting the year just 2-2. Johns Hopkins has registered four shutouts in the current stretch and has allowed more than one goal just one - a 2-all draw with No. 1 Mary Washington on Sept. 25. The Blue Jays have scored in every game except a scoreless draw in the conference opener at Muhlenberg on Sept. 20.
