Gettysburg College Athletics

Today's Centennial Conference game marks the 35th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (1-6-2, 0-3 CC) and Muhlenberg (1-10, 0-3 CC) in a series that dates back to 1991. The Bullets lead the all-time series 22-7-5 and are 2-0-3 in the last five matchups. The last Mule victory was by a 2-1 score in 2009.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Hannah Kernis scored the lone goal of the game in the 21st minute for a 1-0 Gettysburg win at Muhlenberg last season. Paige Addis led the Mules with two shots on goal. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg controlled play and had the better opportunities but ultimately neither team could find the back of the net in a scoreless draw with Hood on Wednesday. Alex Jurow made five saves in goal for the Bullets. Brenna Ellenberger made six stops for the Blazers in the double shutout. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

KEEPING IT CLOSE: Eight of Gettysburg's nine games this season have been decided by one goal or fewer. Both of the Bullets' ties this season have been scoreless deadlocks. The first one was at Shenandoah on Sept. 14 before the double shutout with Hood on Wednesday night. Gettysburg has dropped six 1-0 games this fall and has split a pair of 2-1 decisions. 

LAST TIME OUT: Despite playing to a second-half standstill, Muhlenberg could not overcome two first-half goals and fell at home to Arcadia on Tuesday. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

IVY LEAGUE: Ivy Dias has scored three of the Mules' five goals this season. She has not found the back of the net since Sept. 14 in a 2-1 win over FDU-Florham when she had a hand in both goals, recording a goal and an assist. As a team, Muhlenberg has scored just once since that game and have been outscored 18-1 in the last five games.
