THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg ran away and hid from a field of 19 teams at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic at Waynesboro Country Club. The Bullets fired a 36-hole score of 566 to win by 18 strokes at the annual tournament that they co-host with McDaniel. The B-Team was 10th with a score of 601 (303-298).
THE LEADERS
•
Daniel Suter (Gaithersburg, Md./Milton Academy) won the individual title by a single stroke with a score of 137, firing a pair of rounds under par. Suter carded a round of 69 on Saturday before turning in a round of 68 on Sunday.
FOR THE FOES
• Franklin & Marshall finished second in the field with a score of 584 (291-293).
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Myles Cunningham (Winnetka, Ill./New Tier) and
Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) finished tied for fifth in the field. Kilcoyne registered matching rounds of 70 over the two days while Cunningham carded a round of 69 on Saturday and 71 on Sunday.

Daniel Casanta (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) finished tied for 26th in the field, rebounding from a round of 79 to fire a score of 70 for a two-day score of 149.
•
Christian Deussing (Doylestown, Pa./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]) rounded out the A-Team with score of 168 (80-82) in 74th place.

Will Chouinard (Hamilton, N.Y./Hamilton) the B-Team to a 10th-place finish with a score of 145 to finish tied for 16th. He carded an even-par round of 72 on Saturday before posting a one-over 73 on Sunday.

Corey Haydu (Doylestown, Pa./LaSalle College) was 23rd overall after firing a one-under par 71 on Sunday to finish with a 36-hole total of 148.
•
Thibault Eelen (Waregem, Belgium/Sint-Paulus School Campus College Waregem) and
Redmond Podkowa (Marion, Mass./Bishop Stang) finished tied for 49th with a score of 155. Eelen went 79-76 while Podkowa went 79-76.
•
Nick Conti (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) was 60th with a score of 157 (77-80).
•
Reece Scott (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) and
Tim Hill (Weston, Mass./Dover Sherborn) played as individuals in the tournament. Scott finished 61st with a score of 158 (78-80) while Hill was 67th with a score of 159 (81-78).
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg's 36-hole score of 566 was a Mason-Dixon tournament record by 23 strokes. Sunday's round of 279 was the lowest 18-hole score in the 13-year history of the tournament.

Daniel Suter's total of 137 was the lowest in the history of the tournament.
• The Bullets have won all three tournaments in which it is played this fall.
