Gettysburg took the opening set 25-9, riding that momentum to a 3-0 win over Bryn Mawr.
THE LEADERS

Ava Grall (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Ponte Vedra) led the Bullets, establishing a career high with 14 digs. She also had one ace.
•
Erin Gonzalez (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) paced the attack with 11 kills to go with 11 digs and three aces.

• Zoe Boxill led the Owls with four kills, 11 digs, and one ace.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Trailing 2-1 in the opening set,
Clare Farrell (Livingston, N.J./Academy of St. Elizabeth) knocked down a kill to tie the score and start an 8-0 run that opened up a 9-2 lead. The lead swelled to 13-4 on a
Halle Feth (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County) ace. With a 17-7 lead,
Erin Gonzalez put down back-to-back kills to start another 5-0 run en route to the 25-9 win.
• An Omi Oliver ace staked Bryn Mawr to a 9-4 lead in the second set before three straight Bullet points closed the deficit to two. The run extended to 7-2 to knot the set at 11-all. After two more Owl points,
Ellen Manke (Madison, N.J./Morristown Beard School) dropped a kill to start a 4-0 run that turned the two-point deficit into a two-point lead. Clinging to a 19-18 edge, Gonzalez knocked down two more kills and
Emilie Jabbour (Rockville, Md./St. John's College) added another kill and a block to open up a 23-18 lead en route to a 25-20 victory.
• After a back-and-forth start to the third set,
Ione Pedersen (Avon, Colo./Eagle Valley) broke a 11-all deadlock with a kill that started a match-clinching 10-0 run. Gettysburg took the final set, 25-13.
THE INSIDE STORY
•
Kendall Erpenbeck (San Jose, Calif./Prospect) chipped in 12 assists, three aces and five digs.
• With the win, the Bullets clinch the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Centennial Conference tournament and will host a first-round match on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
