The lead grew to 12-5 on an AB Holsinger triple before Messiah was able to cut the margin to 12-9 after one quarter.
• A Liv Monturo three-point play tied the game just 16 seconds into the second period but Jameson Mott (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen) answered with a 3-pointer to reestablish the three-point advantage. A Justine Forbes trey and Ainsley Bell pull up jumper put the Falcons in front 21-20 with 4:14 showing. The teams traded buckets until Reagan Chrencik (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Sudbury) hit the second of two free throws in the final minute for a 27-26 halftime edge.
