THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg opened the indoor season with five all-time top-10 marks at the Diplomat Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
THE LEADERS
•
Trey Hunter (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) led the Bullets with a program-record time of 7.12 to finish sixth in the finals of the 60. He qualified seventh with a time of 7.19 seconds. He was also seventh in the 200 with a Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying time of 23.78 seconds.
•
Tyler Trout (Chester Springs, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) was third in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.95 seconds. The CC-qualifying time is tied for fourth in program history. He, however, did not start the finals.
•
Andres Nunez-Castaneda (Morrisville, Pa./Notre Dame) was fourth in the 400 with conference-qualifying time of 51.69 seconds, which ranks seventh in program history.
•
Eli Steel (York, Pa./York Country Day School) placed third in the triple jump with a conference-qualifying leap of 12.76 meters, which ranks eighth all-time. He also hit the CC mark in the long jump, placing seventh with a mark of 6.05 meters.

Liam O'Meara (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) turned in a conference-qualifying vault of 4.09 meters, which ranks ninth in program history, to place third.

THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) finished fourth in the 5,000 with a conference-qualifying time of 15:50.23.
•
Mark Overlander (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) debuted with a fourth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 3.94 meters to hit the conference standard.
•
David Magill (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Rye) hit the conference mark in both the 400 and 800, finishing fifth in the 800 with a time of 2:04.55 and 15th in the 400 with a time of 54.76 seconds.
•
Landon Jordan (Westfield, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) placed seventh in the 200 with a time of 23.78 and was 19th in the 60 with a time of 7.40 seconds. Both times hit the conference standard.
•
Joaquin Lalama (Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador/Colegio Americano de Quito) was seventh in the triple jump with a conference-qualifying jump of 11.40 meters. He also cleared a conference-qualifying height of 1.67 to place 11th. He was also 14th in the long jump (5.47).
•
Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn./Wooster School) hit the CC standard in the 5,000 with a time of 16:32.09, finishing 10th.
Austin Hudak (Boonton Twp., N.J./Mountain Lakes) was right behind him with a conference-qualifying time of 16:37.03.

Robby Allen (Sparta, N.J. ) cleared the conference mark in the high jump, placing 10th at 1.67 meters. He was also 40th in the 60 (7.70 seconds).

Rouri Takahashi hit the CC standard in both the 200 (16th, 24.11 seconds) and 60 (28th, 7.47).

Nick Glass (Haworth, N.J./Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) rounded out qualifiers in the 60, placing 27th in a time of 7.47. He was also 37th in the 200 with a time of 25.48.
THE INSIDE STORY

Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison) placed ninth in the mile (4:42.34).
•
Stefano Orlando (Norwalk, Conn./New Canaan) placed 12th in the 60 hurdles (10.23 seconds), 36th in the 800 (2:38.56) and 39th in the shot put (9.38 meters).
•
Matthew Wagner (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown STEM Academy) was 16th in the 3,000 (9:43.31) while
Aidan Martin (Middleburgh, N.Y./Middleburgh) was 26th (11:21.96).
•
Andrew Oshetski (Freeport, Maine/Freeport) finished 18th in the shot put (11.27 meters).
•
Matthew Kurek (Collegeville, Pa./La Salle College) was 21st in the 5,000 Meters (18:10.98).
•
Adam Balthaser (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) was 22nd in the 400 (56.56 seconds) and 45th in the 60 (7.92).
•
James Higinbotham (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) finished 26th in the 800 (2:19.50).
•
Reid Norton (Alexandria, Va./Gonzaga College) placed 30th in the 800 (2:23.69, 40th in the shot put (9.35 meters) and 41st in the 60 (7.71 seconds).
•
Pat Zoccolillo (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) was 32nd in the 200 (25.01) and 38th in the 60 (7.69).
• The 4x400-meter relay placed fifth with a time of 3:36.80.
