THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 88 points to place fourth in the 2026 Outdoor Track & Field Centennial Conference Championship. The Bullets earned seven medals, three of which gold, and four top-ten all-time marks one of which being a new program record in javelin set by
Dom Roussos.
THE LEADERS
- Dom Roussos led the Bullets with a gold finish in javelin earning himself a season-best while also setting a new program record with a distance of 55.86 meters.
- Jack Regentin added a second gold to the tally in shot put with a toss of 14.58 meters. He also added the second silver medal for the Bullets in discus with a throw of 45.48 meters. Regentin rounded out his performance on the weekend with a tenth place finish in hammer with a distance of 37.04 meters.
- Mark Overlander added the third and final gold for Gettysburg in the pole vault on day one of the weekend with a height of 4.25 meters.
- Eli Steel snagged two bronze medals, one on each of the last two meet days, in long jump and triple jump. He earned a season-best in long jump with a leap of 6.53 meters and added another season-best in triple jump with a distance of 13.75 meters which also ranks tied for third in program history.
- Trey Hunter placed third in the 100 meter prelims qualifying for the finals with a season-best time of 10.93 seconds which ranks third in program history. He went on to place sixth in the finals with a time of 10.96 seconds. He also competed in the 200 meter prelims finishing fifth to qualify for the finals with a season-best time of 21.97 seconds. Hunter placed fourth in the finals with a time of 22.62 seconds.
- Andrew Oshetski finished eighth in hammer with a season-best toss of 39.50 meters which ranks eighth in program history. He added a second season-best toss in shot put to finish 12th with a throw of 12.32 meters.
FOR THE FOES
- Johns Hopkins won the meet with 230 points, Ursinus took second with a score of 132.5 while Dickinson placed third with 132 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- The quartet of Nick Glass, Rouri Takahashi, Carter Harff, and Trey Hunter combined to placed fourth in the 4x100 relay with a season-best time of 43.62 seconds.
- Tyler Trout came in sixth in the 400-meter hurdles prelims to qualify for the finals with a season-best time of 57.47 seconds. He went on to place fifth in the finals with a time of 1:00.07. He also finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdles prelims with a season-best time of 16.06 seconds qualifying for the finals where he finished seventh with a time of 24.81 seconds.
- Stefano Orlando competed in the decathlon placing sixth with a season-best score of 4,598 points. Orlando placed first in shot put with a toss of 11.86 meters, second in javelin with a throw of 35.36 meters and fourth in the 100 with a season-best time of 11.58 seconds among his finishes in the ten-event multi. He also competed in shot put finishing 13th with a throw of 12.22 meters.
- Mick Lorenger, Asher Leuzzi, Isaac Parks-Gill and Jack Rogers combined to place seventh in the 4x800 relay with a season-best time of 8:10.59.
- Henry Mahoney finished eighth in discus with a season-best distance of 37.55 meters.
- Rouri Takahashi came in tenth in the 400 meter prelims with a season-best time of 50.67 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
- Joaquin Lalama competed in triple jump finishing tenth with a season-best leap of 12.20 meters. He added a second season-best leap of 5.72 meters in long jump to place 14th.
- Kyle Northrup placed 11th in the 400 meter prelims with a season-best time of 50.72 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
- Jayden Craig finished 11th in the steeplechase with a season-best time of 10:37.74.
- David Magill came in 13th in the 800 meter prelims with a season-best time of 1:59.41 however, he did not start in the finals.
- Maddon McNicholas competed in the 10,000 finishing 17th with a season-best time of 33:29.48. He also placed 17th in the 5,000 with a time of 15:36.37.
- Pat Zoccolillo placed 21st in the 400-meter hurdles prelims with a season-best time of 1:04.31 however, he did not start in the finals.
THE INSIDE STORY
- John Murphy IV finished seventh in the steeplechase with a time of 10:18.97.
- Robby Allen came in 11th in high jump with a height of 1.68 meters.
- Jeremy Cruz competed in javelin placing 14th with a distance of 44.90 meters.
- Nick Glass placed 19th in the 100 meter prelims with a time of 11.58 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
- Carter Harff finished 19th in the 200 meter prelims with a time of 23.38 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
- Colin Carpenter came in 19th in the 10,000 with a time of 33:47.14.
