THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg took first in 12 of 14 events to earn a 194-67 win over Ursinus.
THE LEADERS
•
Edward Kim (Weston, Conn./Weston) won three events, including two individuals. He started with a win as part of the 200 Medley Relay A-Team, and added victories in the 200 freestyle (1:45.34) and 200 backstroke (1:54.56). Kim also placed second in the 100 IM (53.72).
•
Charlie Cross (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) also had a multiple win day. He won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 58.86 before taking first in the 200 breaststroke (2:08.46). He also added a win in the 100 IM (53.70), breaking the school record of 53.97 set in 2020.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gettysburg took the top two spots in the 200 Medley Relay. The A-Team of Kim,
Declan Sheeran (McLean, Va./McLean),
Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy), and
Cort Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic) was first with a swim of 1:35.69. The B-Team of
Charter Sasseville (North Yarmouth, Maine/Greely),
Trey Mitchell (Rehoboth Beach, Del./Sussex Academy),
Hunter Sundlun (Richmond, Va./St. Christophers School), and
Lorenzo Zullo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) was just behind with a time of 1:36.41.

Sam Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) won the 1000 freestyle with a swim of 9:56.13.
• In the 200 freestyle,
Conor Vienneau (Newburg, Md./LaPlata), and
Cole Martin (Penn Laird, Va./Spotswood) went 2-3 behind Kim. Vienneau clocked in at 1:46.75 and Martin rounded out the top three with a time of 1:47.00.
• Hobelmann won the 100 backstroke with a swim of 52.98. Sasseville was just under a second behind, clocking in at 53.93 from second.

Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) won the 200 butterfly with a swim of 1:57.46.
Mason Dillon (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) placed second with a time of 2:00.52.
• Zullo out touched Ursinus' Stephen Lyons to take first in the 50 freestyle. Zullo won by just over a tenth of a second, with a time of 21.61.

Connor Booth (Wallingford, Conn./Suffield Academy) out touched Zullo by 14 hundredths to win the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.37. Zullo's time of 47.51 was good for second place.
• In the 100 butterfly, McAlister placed first (52.67).
• Sheeran was second in the 100 breaststroke (59.26) and in the 200 breaststroke (2:12.06).
• Vienneau (1:57.72) and Sasseville (1:58.12) finished 2-3 behind Kim in the 200 freestyle.

Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) and
Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) placed second and third, respectively, in the 500 freestyle. McKenna clocked in at 4:48.39 while Nelson swam to a 4:55.11.
• The 400 Freestyle Relay B-Team of
John Verosko (Gainesville, Va./Patriot),
Harry Nelson,
Jack Murphy (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill), and
Rudy Rudatsikira (Kampala, Central, Uganda/Georgetown Prep [Md.]) placed second (3:18.53(.
THE INSIDE STORY

Harry Nelson took third place in the 1000 freestyle (10:00.45).
• Martin took third in the 100 freestyle (48.34).
• Mitchell placed third in the 100 butterfly (54.25).
• The 200 Medley Relay C-Team of Rudatsikira, Dillon,
Charlie Kiddoo (Avon, Colo./Battle Mountain), and
Erik Floren Smith (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) took fifth place (1:40.37).
