FIRST PITCH: Today's non-conference game marks the sixth all-time meeting between Gettysburg (10-10) and Hood (12-6) in a series that dates back to 2015. The Bullets lead the all-time series 3-2, including a 9-7 win last season in Frederick. The last Blazers win came on Mar. 4, 2018 in Frederick.

WHEN LAST WE MET: After being down 3-0 after two innings, Gettysburg used two straight two-run innings to tie the game and take the lead, defeating Hood 9-7 last season. Mabret Levant tallied three hits, including one double, to go with 3 RBIs and one stolen base. Jack Pistner added two knocks, with a double of his own, and had one run and RBI. LAST TIME OUT: A third-inning, three-run home run staked Gettysburg to a 3-0 lead and the pitching staff held Gwynedd Mercy down to secure a 3-2 victory on Monday. Cole Wong fanned six and allowed just one run on three hits in five innings on the mound. Sam Junker led the Griffins with two hits and drove in both runs. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

STEALING THE SHOW: David Preziuso has stolen at least one base successfully in the last four games. He has nine swipes total in those four games to give him 16 on the year. That total not only leads the Bullets but also paces the Centennial Conference. As a team, Gettysburg is 56-for-66 in stolen-base attempts this season. That total ranks second in the conference as a team. Jack Burke is second on the team with nine stolen bases.

300-LEVEL: Five of the six qualifying Blazer hitters are hitting better than .300 this season. Cameron Day is hitting a team-best .423 on the year with 22 hits that includes five doubles and four home runs. He enters today's game with a .750 slugging and 1.288 OPS. He has also scored 20 runs and has 12 walks to his credit. Day has at least one hit in 13 of the 16 games he has played this season with three three-hit games. As a team, Hood is hitting .326 this season.
