LANCASTER, Pa. – Emmanuel Ajewole (Floral Park, N.Y./Stony Brook School), a senior on the Gettysburg baseball team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 18-24.

Ajewole was a key part of a 4-0 week for the Bullets (10-10), going 7-for-9 at the plate for a .778 batting average while driving in seven runs and scoring five times. He also walked twice and was hit by a pitch three times for a .750 on-base percentage. With one double, he posted a 1.639 OPS on the week and was also 4-for-4 in stolen-base attempts.

For the season, he is hitting .438 with a 1.156 OPS. He has eight runs scored and nine RBIs to his credit this season. He also has seven walks and has been hit by a pitch seven times for a .656 on-base percentage.

Gettysburg returns to action at home against Hood on Tuesday. Game time is 3 p.m.
