Charlie Johnson led the Bullets with a career-high six points on four goals and two assists. Quinton Mather added a hat trick of his own with three goals and an assist. NO. 11 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg dropped one spot to No. 11 in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll when Amherst jumped the Bullets after a 9-8 win last Wednesday.
GOOSE EGG: The Gettysburg defense posted a first-half shutout against McDaniel on Wednesday. The Bullets built a 14-0 lead through the first 25 minutes of the game that included a five-goal barrage in 2:39 and seven-goal onslaught in 4:21. The defense limited the Green Terror to just four first-half shots - only two of which were on cage, the second of which didn't come until the final two minutes of the second period. In total, Gettysburg finished the first half with a 30-4 advantage in shots over the first 30 minutes and 48-23 for the game. McDaniel also had 12 first-half turnovers to the Bullets' three.
