THE SKINNY STORY
Ursinus scored five runs in the seventh inning of game two to break a 10-all deadlock and complete a sweep of Gettysburg. The Bears won game one 7-6 and took game two, 15-12.

THE LEADERS
David Preziuso (Selbyville, Del./Caravel Academy) led the Bullets with four hits and four RBIs in the twinbill.

FOR THE FOES
• Jakob Cantor led the Bears with five hits and three RBIs.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In game one, Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) led off the second with a single before moving up on a groundout, to third on a passed ball and scoring on a wild pitch for a 1-0 lead.
• With one out in the third, Brendan Laqui (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) and David Preziuso drew back-to-back walks before a Will Bercaw (Kennett Square, Pa./Pennington) single and Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) sacrifice fly made it 3-0.
• Peter Balos poked a single up the middle with one out in the home fourth before Jude Gilhool singled and Jordan Williams doubled to get Ursinus on the board. George Nestor followed with a single to left to cut the deficit to 3-2.
• An Alexey Stout (Wall, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) single and stolen base at a runner at second with one out in the fifth. Back-to-back walks loaded the bases before a wild pitch made it 4-2.
• Three singles tied the game in the home half of the inning.
• A Laqui double, throwing error and bunt single put Gettysburg back in front in the top of the seventh before a two-out catcher's interference call and a wild pitch gave the Bears a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the frame.
• Ursinus tacked on a run in the eighth when Kyle Rosenfeld reached on an error to start the inning and then scored on a two-out Jakob Cantor single.
• Laqui walked to open the ninth before a Preziuso single put runners at the corners. After a stolen base moved both runners into scoring position, a one-out Pistner sacrifice fly cut the margin to one but Dan Bass closed out the game with his sixth strikeout in 4 1/3 innings of relief.
• In game two, Brian Andersen (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) walked to lead off the third before a Preziuso double put runners at second and third with one out. An error on a squeeze play scored both runners for a 2-0 lead before another error and singles from Tristan Neels (San Deigo, Calif./Francis W. Palmer) and Adam Hicks (Edgewater, Md./Gilman School) made it 5-0.
• Two hit batters with two outs and a two-run Balos single cut the deficit to 5-3 in the bottom of the inning.
• A Preziuso walk and Pistner two-out single pushed the lead to 6-3 in the fourth before a two-run Preziuso double down the line in the fifth stretched the lead to 8-3.
• Ross, however, had a three-run, two-out home run in the bottom of the inning to key a seven-run frame that gave the hosts a 10-8 edge.
• A Pistner solo shot to lead off the sixth cut the margin to 10-9 before a Stout single and two-out error tied the game in the seventh.
• Five straight free passes in the seventh a two-run Balos single led to a five-run home seventh for a 15-10 lead.
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) walked to start the ninth before an Emmanuel Ajewole (Floral Park, N.Y./Stony Brook School) double put two runners on base. A one-out Preziuso single down the line made it 15-10 but Ross came on to close and locked down the final two outs.

THE INSIDE STORY
Will Bercaw had the only two-hit game in the opener.
James Weedon (New Hyde Park, N.Y./Chaminade) fanned six in 3 2/3 innings in game one.
• In game two, Preziuso had three hits and four RBIs while Jack Pistner, Tristan Neels and Adam Hicks all had two hits each.
